Many of my clients are in finance, marketing, and customer success. That said, I’ve written resumes for everyone from a barrista to a social impact leader and the C-suite. I leverage my Master’s degree in Information Studies, my corporate and non-profit experience, and my writing expertise to support your career development at any stage, in any field.

Within a week of receiving all necessary information from you, I will send you the first draft.

No. My approach is achievement-based and I ask for 4-6 of them per position held. I can provide you with  guidance on how to put those together. And, of course, it is my job to edit them for keywords, concision, and impact.

When it comes to resumes from scratch, I spend a bit more time with you upfront to guide you through putting the necessary information into one document, unformatted – what I refer to as a data dump. Get the information down and I will ply my craft. That said, please don’t send me 10 pages, expecting 2 back.

I ask for all documents to be shared with me in .doc or .docx files. Since I am editing, please send editing-friendly materials – no screenshots, pdfs, or ALL CAPS copy, por favor! 🙂

Yes, I can provide you with a couple of samples of my work upon request. They are anonymized and will give you a general feel for my writing.

No, it would be deceitful of me (or anyone) to provide you with one. There are several other key variables that are part of landing the job. How much time you prepare in advance of the interview, how well you present, market saturation, and quality of other candidates – to name a few.

Yes. They are like the bow on your application package and can make the difference between choosing you over an equally qualified (on paper) competitor. I know a C-suite hiring manager at a large corporation who reads the cover letter first, trusting that HR has put the best resumes in front of her.

I provide you with a resume in a professional template. I can also provide you with .txt file you can submit to Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Each ATS is slightly different and one size does not fit all. 

If there is a specific template that you have acquired elsewhere and would like me to work with, I’m generally open to that – unless you’ve crafted something weird in Canva, for example.

You can find some lovely, inexpensive templates on Etsy.  I caution against too much bling and please keep in mind that we are targeting humans (HR staff and hiring managers) as well as the ATS.

All services include a 40-minute Zoom call to address your needs. You can also count on me to answer emails promptly and ask you questions via email as we work together.

First, I want you to know that this is a mutual commitment toward success.

Within 48 hours, I provide a 100 % refund. After that, a 20% deduction applies for processing and initial review up until the week your materials are due. As of the day we were scheduled to work together, I do not provide any refund. I have booked time for you in my schedule, turned others away, and begun research on who you are and how I can make you stand out.

Once you have received the first draft from me, you have 10 business days to reply with feedback or edits to be included in the final version. After that, the file is closed.
